"When Your Fire Cries" is about troubles of the heart and finding a way to remind yourself of all that's good even when times are hard.
A romantic guitar piece written & played by me in my own unique style, it combines a flowing melancholic feel with romantic nostalgia and has plenty of vulnerable moments. It's a joy to play and is by no means perfect, but I hope it will resonate with those who suffer heartache and seek solace.

The title "Whilst I Can" was chosen to reflect that I've no idea how long I can carry on for. All the pieces in it were written by me in April/May 2026 and, rather than risk losing any of them to the vicissitudes of time, I decided to play, record, mix and master them at home in the UK in June 2026. I did everything to the best of my ability and it is 100% authentically me, but it is by no means perfect. I hope you'd like to play them one day!
