"To Be Heard At Last" is about the struggle for identity in an increasingly clamorous world and the sense of relief that comes when you figure out who you are.

A poignant guitar piece written & played by me in my own unique style, it's chock full of warm, sad and intimate melodies. It's great fun to play and by no means perfect, but I hope it will resonate with those who are trying to understand their place in the world.

"To Be Heard At Last" is the 4th track in the EP "Whilst I Can".

NB: This piece was created entirely from my own mind & imagination. No AI was involved.

EP: Whilst I Can

EP 'Whilst I Can' by Tim Cole Cover: Tap for larger

The "Whilst I Can" EP includes the following original & enjoyable-to-play guitar pieces:

  1. The Juice of Seven Berries (3m 10s)
  2. When Your Fire Cries (3m 51s)
  3. Desire For Honey (2m 30s)
  4. To Be Heard At Last (3m 32s)
  5. Spirit Of Acceptance (5m 06s)

The title "Whilst I Can" was chosen to reflect that I've no idea how long I can carry on for. All the pieces in it were written by me in April/May 2026 and, rather than risk losing any of them to the vicissitudes of time, I decided to play, record, mix and master them at home in the UK in June 2026. I did everything to the best of my ability and it is 100% authentically me, but it is by no means perfect. I hope you'd like to play them one day!
