"Joane" is a piece that is meant to reflect the middle years, life and times of my beloved & beautiful mother (RIP 2022). My treasured memories of her with my dad and young family are sparse, and I wish I had more.
"Joane" is the 2nd piece in the 3 track EP for guitar called "Jessica Joane Cole". It was recorded on classical guitar and she heard it before she passed.

I started writing/composing the pieces in this EP in 2021 and completed them just before they were recorded in the summer of 2022. They were all played entirely from memory and rather 'imperfectly' (i.e. I missed some notes etc.). However, I'm glad that I at least managed to record them at all and did so at the amazing Denmark Studios UK. I hope you'd like to play them one day!
