I've written many songs and I write them mostly on guitar. They're all 'AI-free' and are a product of my own mind and imagination (music & lyrics). That said, I may in future more often use Smart Instruments to fill them out a bit with accompaniment (e.g. drums, bass, piano etc.).

Whilst the chords and melodies come reasonably quickly, lyrics can take me many months of rewrites and I regularly have to rip them up and start over. Finally, even though I'm not particularly keen on my voice I've decided to stick with it for reasons of authenticity!

Because of the above, most songs never get "finished" and so I tend to hold off recording them, even as roughs. I am no recording engineer but my goal is to try to use modern mastering tools on at least some of these roughs in the hope that I can release some of them in future.
