Thanks for this, that is really helpful! The agreement seems fine to me, so I have no idea why they do not put it online for people to see. When you have no sight of an agreement, or no idea why you cannot see it, you can start to imagine all kind of nasty clauses that could be in it. Goodness knows, there are enough scams going on these days, so one cannot be blamed for being suspicious…

On another note, how did you find winning worked out for you? Have you had any uptake on your song? Do you think it has been “worth” entering and winning this competition? Are the benefits of winning as good as are claimed? SOTY does seem to be good (as I noted), but there are a lot of song competitions and it is not clear quite how much they really help songwriters get their songs covered. Hence the question!
